Beautiful property, great pool, beautiful room. Frog ponds were pretty neat and we saw a few red-eyed tree frogs on the night it rained. One of the most lovely hotels we booked in Costa Rica. Would recommend it to a friend.

The new argentinian owner, Gonzalo, is fully dedicated to making this place an unforgettable experience for everyone. I especially appreciated all the eco-friendly touches he added to the main building. He is very consciencious and knows Costa Rica inside out. And If you don't usually like bunk beds, give this a try: the high wooden roof make the rooms feel very spacious, and the upper bunk is next to the windows screen and the jungle outside, with a net, privacy curtain, reading light and fan. Top confort. The general vibes of the hostel were chill, and guests were all happy to extend their stay. As a plus, the best grocery store in the region is just down the road.

I stayed at Casita de Flores (the one-bedroom cottage). It was beautiful. The decor and layout were great and perfect for one person. There's AC, not fan, which is appreciated. Also, the grounds are lovely, very cultural and intimate. The owner Kim showed us around and gave a tour of the two-bedroom cottage and the area. It's Black owned (from an American woman), which I liked and wanted to support. I'm glad I did.

We loved everything about our stay. Primo and his wife were so kind and helpful. The breakfasts were delicious. The location was perfect for us since we wanted some peace and quiet whilst still being able to access the national park by boat.

We were well taken care of from the moment, we arrived to La Pavona, as the boat company knew about our arrival and had our names. The accomodation even arranged our transfer to Cahuita (boat and taxi), which worked out well. The apartment exeeded every expectation. Huge open space, wonderful views to Tortuguero canal with sliding doors/windows to let the outside atmosphere in. The whole space was very clean, warm shower, safe, garderobe for clothes, dining an writing table, full sized fridge, double airconditioning, and even a bathtube with view. The bed was very comfortable, the linen was good quality. In town everything was in walking distance, and the whole area was astonishing. If we ever return to Costa Rica, we would definitely stay here again.

In each room one double and one single bed very comfortable, air condition, ventilator. The bathroom is large. Hot shower. Toiletries. Large modern kitchen well equipped with induction hob, microwave, coffee filter machine and a lot of plates, glasses . One sofa in the living room. TV. Strong Wifi . They answer quickly to WhatsApp messages. The owner leaves next door. They largely deserve 10.
