Set in an ecological building right on Cerro Alegre, Fauna Hotel offers rooms with free WiFi and complimentary continental breakfast. Everything! The hotel was an ingenious combination of traditional and contemporary. Spotless! The food was super. People queuing up outside the restaurant! The staff were charming and poor not do enough for us!

The flat had everything needed to cook and live there, though I didn’t take advantage of that bit. It had wonderful views, comfortable beds and furniture and a bathroom for each room. The staff were great and it felt very safe. The rooftop pool was also excellent, though not heated, it felt amazing on a hot day!

The breakfast was very good with a choice of 4 pre set menu and every table has an amazing view of the ocean. The Ocean views from the balcony of the bungalows are incredible and there is an hamac where you can relax besides there are some seats and table where couple of times we enjoy a beautiful dinner. The kitchen is very well equipped if you feel like cooking and they even had excellent wine glases to enjoy a great" SALUD" The host Ximena which welcomed us when we arrived made us feel very comfortable and gave us many good tips about the Island ,Gracias Ximena.. Also Andrea who was the person that I was in contact before we arrive was very helpful and it inspired me to choose this wonderful place. This was a family trip for me my 3 sisters and my mother and we all felt the warmth of everybody that works there and most important they treat my mother Gloria like a Queen. Muchisimas Gracias.
