Alpha Hotel is located in the centre of Tienen, within 5 minutes’ walking from the Tienen trainstation. It features 17 compact rooms 4 deluxe apartments with flat-screen TV and free WiFi. We were traveling by bicycle. The hotel had a large shed in the parking lot for storing our bikes overnight. They also have maps available of many of the local cycling routes. The breakfast was spectacular. Many of the items were homemade. In addition, one member of our group requires a gluten-free diet and there were plenty of options available at breakfast including homemade gluten-free granola. There's a very nice shaded, outdoor seating area that we enjoyed. There's a restaurant attached to the front of the hotel so one doesn't need to go far for dinner.
