Gorgeous properties on beautiful land with lots of fun surprises - friendly animals, welcoming touches inside the cottage, extremely comfortable, roomy and well equipped. Individual cottages feel private while still having proximity and shared outdoor space with other guests. We also very safe and secure during our stay. The owner was really friendly and we could have stayed for days.

The cottage was very clean and very spacious. The owner is super nice and helpful. The cottage had everything you would need on your stay. The view at the cliffs from the patio is also very nice (including all the farm animals like a horse and alpacas :D).

This cottage, styled with South African charm, offers all the comforts for a pleasant holiday. Our host, Braam, graciously showed us around on arrival and made us feel like we were visiting a friend. The rooms were adorned with fresh flowers and tasteful décor, and the kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed. In addition to the usual appliances, I vividly remember a diverse selection of spices, tea, coffee, and lovely pottery. Both bedrooms were comfortable and complemented the cozy atmosphere. Outside, there's a veranda and an additional braai area that we used. Firewood was readily available, and we safely parked our two cars in the garage. It was a delightful experience, and we will certainly consider returning at some time in the future.

Everything!!! Not a single fault! Location is isolated and stunning natural surrounds with loads of trees and birds. The place is vibrant in energy and yet very tranquil. This place is very clean and comfortable, kitchen is functional and bathrooms intimate!

This is the most amazing cottage with an outstanding view. The owners are super friendly and helpful and the cottage now offers an invertor which means that lights and the telly can be used during power outages. We’ll definitely be back, thanks so much.

That’s what we thought when we stayed here for a few days. It is breathtakingly beautiful, the mountains and water. We enjoyed the hot tub and canoeing in the lake. We felt connected to nature. And then also a super nice host.

    This was such great value for money - and dog friendly!!! The lady who welcomed/hosted us was so wonderful and warm. The room was so so beautiful (I would reccommend one of the upstairs rooms as they catch the sun and have a spacious layout). For the price we were blown away!

    What a beautiful house and an amazing location. Marthalie and Neels were exceptional hosts, catering for our every need. We were welcomed with a bowl of fresh prunes (picked from the farm) and jam. The house is tastefully decorated and super clean. The beds are so comfortable, and you look out over a beautiful garden with home grown veggies, plus it’s dog friendly! Great Wifi, DSTV, Netflix, Disney and Prime. I would definitely recommend Lowergroen!

    Check-in was easy and the cottage was super clean. It was stocked with essentials (teas, coffees, sugar, salt, pepper, and oil) and had everything we needed. There was enough wood for the grill/braai and extra bags too. We also had the hot tub which was fantastic. The host was friendly and responded quickly to any questions. The scenery was amazing and there were nature sounds all around. The farm dogs were respectful of my cats and kept their distance when the cats were on their leashed walks.
