I loved everything about Halketha. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with such warmth and hospitality from Chitra, Mary and Nelumi. We were taken to our villa across a beautiful landscaped garden that also stays true to its love for the natural environment. The villa itself was perfection - perfectly decorated, clean, homely but also provided you with a sense that you were in luxury. The outdoor bathroom was a cherry on top, with a beautiful araliya tree in the middle. During our stay, we were not only treated close to family, but the quality of service was nothing like I had seen in Sri Lanka for a long time. The food was authentically Sri Lankan, with a rich yet classic taste. The property is close to mini waterfalls and great walks. This is a stay I will keep coming back to. A reminder that authentic and wholesome experiences still exist in Sri Lanka.

The host and the facilities included were something that exceeded the expectations. the interior of the room felt very homely and comfortable. Highly reccomended for any solo traveller or to a person on business trips.

Location was perfect for all BENTOTA & surrounding activities. The beach was just across the river for which the owner provided a free boat service. The property was very well maintained, clean & comfortable. The deck facing the river was the icing on the cake. Owner couple were so friendly & accomodating. The breakfast was too good & fresh. Amber house also has a great menu for meals. The swimming pool was cool & clean.

We had a wonderful stay (12 nights) at the River Breeze Villa. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a small separate area featuring a kitchen and a large bathroom. Both the room and the entire property were impeccably maintained at all times. Ruchira & Pradeep are the absolute best hosts one can imagine—so incredibly attentive, accommodating, and warm. We would be delighted to return one day.

This Homestay was THE BEST 💜 -Victor and his family treated us as we were also a part of this beautiful family while not being intrusive at all. -We enjoyed walking to a nearby beaches and having a dip in the beautiful pool. -Breakfast was very large and delicious. -We enjoyed some beautiful cakes and tea on the balcony while having a really interesting conversation with Victor our host. -After breakfast, we began reading ourselves to leave the property and we were told that we could stay as long as we wanted as check out was flexible. - One of nicest gentlemen we’ve had the pleasure of crossing paths with on our travels.

We had a stay of one night after our stay at the other villa of Shameera. Also this Villa is a great place to be, really fantastic. Once again, the host Shameera is a wonderful guy. He is so kind and polite, he helped with everything. eg giving some really good hints, what to do and what kind of activities are good to join. Apartment is extremely clean, with a new AC, warm water, big kitchen and bathroom, and a incredibly comfortable bed. Beach is within a 5 min walking distance. And the best of all - host is an amazing person. He helped us immensely, including driving us to the hospital, helping with purchasing a new phone and recommending all of the good places to eat. I would give him 11/10 :)
