Family run pension - the hosts are very friendly and helpful. Amazing location! This is a proper hideaway - the bungalows are located away from any road (the hosts would pick you up with their 4x4 from the village but you'll have to follow the narrow pathway also to reach a beautiful river cascade at the doorstep of your tiny house. Perfect place to watch nature (eagles, kingfishers, peacocks, magpies, barking deer). The family provides really good, home cooked meals, fresh juices and desserts. Treks and activities are also available. Highly recommended for anyone craving an adventure and to connect with nature. Thank you for everything!

Everything is great. Mr. Bandula, the owner, who is truly exceptional and a respected figure in Deniyaya town. If your plans include staying in Deniyaya for the purpose of exploring Sinharaja, he is undoubtedly the best and coolest guide out there who knows every single inch of Sinharaja.
