This Christmas, my two girls and I enjoyed an unforgettable camping trip, followed by a relaxing stay at the stunning Balapitiya beach. To unwind, we booked the Tropical Oasis Villa—a true paradise. This private villa, with its spotless pool and homely charm, felt like a sanctuary. It was the perfect blend of comfort and luxury, offering us a home away from home. The best part? It was just a short stroll to the breathtaking beach. Our family cherished every moment and can't wait to return!

He explained everything with care and created a space where I could simply breathe and be. Respectful, present, with a spark of something rare — you can feel this place is loved. And you’re lucky to step into that space. He’s the kind of host who leaves a quiet impression — the kind you remember long after you leave. Breakfasts were beyond delicious — fresh, local, made with attention and soul. Every morning felt like a gentle invitation to slow down and enjoy life. The garden is full of life — lush greenery, cinnamon trees, soft air. The ocean is just 50 meters away — and the beach is so quiet and beautiful, it truly feels like it’s all yours. This is a place of peace and beauty — perfect for those who seek true rest, far from noisy crowds. An authentic villa, a pool, nature, and a sense of care. Nice light new clean accommodation with spacious terrace and private entrance situated in a tranquil neighborhood off the main road. Good bathroom with hot shower. Large bed with an excellent mosquito net. Run by a friendly family doing their absolute best to make you having a great time. The hostess prepares excellent meals on request. If we have had time we surely would have stayed longer.

People were so nice and helpfull. Rooms are good and clean. Very nice pool and garden. Could choose a lot for breakfast. Shop just across the road. Beach is 5min with Tuk Tuk.

The room was large and modern. The pool area was very relaxing and has a gate straight out to the beach!! Our room faced the ocean and it was the most beautiful view. The manager looked after us very well. The breakfast was delicious.

The room was very clean with all the required facilities. The care taker was very good. The owner was very helpful. He arranged the transportation for us. The area is remote one. If you want to experience the rural vibe while staying in a good room, go for it.

YOU MUST STAY HERE...The family that own this homestay couldn't have been more welcoming from the start to the end of our stay. Upon arrival we were handed a cold refreshing drink while the rottweiler introduced himself. Ive been travelling 6 weeks in Asia now and quite frankly this gentle giant made me feel at home very quickly. The daughter helping with my travelling plug issue and connecting me to WiFi, she was simply keen to please in any way. The family's English was amazing and probably the best ive experienced in Sri Lanka. Breakfast was delicious with a huge bowl of fruit followed by eggs,tomatoes and some thick tiger bread with butter and jam. Jug of coffee much welcomed. If I needed something I felt like it was never too much trouble. Location is so close to the beach but feels like the jungle from my room balcony. Within 5min walking distance you have a pub with roof top ideal for watching sunsets called Beauty Coral Bar. A restaurant within the homestay so you dont even need to leave to get food. Another restaurant 5mins up the road called Simple Restaurant if you fancy a change. Clean spacious rooms with good air con,ceiling fan and I love the shower and toilet also very clean and spacious. The whole place from the restaurant to my room,the family and Location I LOVED IT SO much I had to stay another night. So from England Kent to Sunnys Homestay I send you my thanks and my love for everything you did for me.
