Pet-friendly hotels and homes in Riung

Sometimes it is the people who make a place truly special. At Bintang Wisata Riung we were warmly welcomed by the owners. They are not just friendly, they are genuinely kind and truly care about making you feel comfortable. One real highlight: the owner has his own boat and offers private tours to the 17 Islands. It was an experience we will not forget. Snorkelling at beautiful spots, crystal clear water, almost no other people, and flying foxes in the trees. Moments that really stay with you. The barbecue on a small island was simply fantastic. Fresh fish, plenty of food, and absolutely delicious. It was personal, relaxed, and far away from mass tourism. The accommodation was good, clean, and perfectly fine for our stay. The breakfast was rich and varied. Everything fit together perfectly and we felt completely at ease. If you are looking for more than just a place to stay in Riung and want real experiences, Bintang Wisata Riung is exactly the right choice. We can recommend this place from the heart.

The room is an indoor/ outdoor space, comfortable and stylish and the view is gorgeous. The hosts Neo and Walde were friendly while also giving us plenty of privacy. We enjoyed talking with Neo and learning more about his work with local people while helping the environment. Walde is a great cook, all the meals were excellent and served in the most idyllic location. The outdoor bathroom is also very cool. We loved every moment of our stay.

The staff and family at the Guesthouse were so welcoming and friendly. They make it feel like a home away from home. Breakfast was fresh and delicious and the room was simple, clean and has everything you need. There's a restaurant across the road where I had a delicious outdoor dinner amongst other tourists and the Guesthouse is very close to the jetty and harbour for those indulging in the 17 Islands boat trips.

Pot of gold – 30 mins drive from Riung Modern clean room with ensuite, aircon and comfy bed. But the owners are the real gems. Maria is so kind and hospitable, and her meals are plentiful and delicious. We spent a day on the beach, and she arranged fresh coconut drinks for us – no charge. Loved our time in Les 4 Pohons, we spent one day and one night, did some kayaking and enjoyed the delicious food. The highlight for us, besides the calm and beautiful environment, were our discussions with Olivier. It was great and fun hearing about the stories of his adventures. We would have loved to stay more and won’t hesitate to come back !
