Wow what a beautiful location, the barn is stunning, nearly everything you need is supplied, the only thing you need to bring is, shampoo, bodywash and toothpaste, the hosts came and meet us after we had settled in and they were so welcoming. I would highly recommend this venue if you are looking for a cosy break away, that you don't pass this up!!! Will definitely stay here again.

Fantastic staff!!! Felt like home! Loved Maddie in the reception! She felt like a friend! Shared her childhood swimming spots, suggested hiking routes, outings 💕. Tom Butt in the reception had been there for nearly 20 years and smiled so much and always chatted with us. The owners Matt and Helen were amazing. Pottering around always with a smile. Most amazing stay ever and this is because of the people there. Everybody serving and in the bar were exceptional! We stayed both in the treehouse and in the hotel. The treehouse is such an experience! The terrace is peaceful. Gorgeous garden. Best parking right outside. Train station only only 5 min walk away. Gotta have a car to get around a bit. Quiet and peaceful.

    We had an amazing weekend at this cozy home! It felt like home right from the start due to the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The house is equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay, and the interior creates a true sense of coziness. The location is perfect for a getaway – quiet and peaceful, yet conveniently close to all necessary amenities.

    The location was superb, right in the middle of this thriving village. We had supper in The Kings Arms, which I would highly recommend. We were only here for a short amount of time, but will be back to explore the area more thoroughly. The welcome pack was very much appreciated and the information folder was very comprehensive. Just one thing to be aware of, is that because it’s a very old cottage, there isn’t much height available to shower. Not a criticism, just a fact if you were 6’, showering would be tricky.

    The property was very comfortable and beautifully finished to a high standard - it felt like home instantly Our two dogs and cat seemed to want to stay on longer Kim & Simon were excellent hosts right from day one of booking several months ago - they were so welcoming and very helpful will definitely return in summertime

    Excellent location in the village, and the parking included was a great advantage. Property was clean and well presented. Extra touches like the welcome gift and dog bowls etc. made it feel welcoming. Extra information provided in a folder was very useful.
