Beatiful old world inn in a peaceful location. Room was comfortable and well equipped. Food was top quality and reasonably priced. Add the very friendly and helpful staff to this and I cannot recommend it highly enough. Thanks for a great stay.

The Barge Inn is a little Paradise with the friendliest People. The Room was huge and a perfect Mix of beautyful renovated old and modern. I heard they sometimes host music Festivals (check their website). No idea if it can get loud then but as we were there it was super quiet at night and we slept wonderful. The Bed was big and very comfortable. I have to eat glutenfree and they offered me many options for breakfast (GF Granola, Cornflakes, Bread..) and a full english Breakfast. Also our dog was very welcomed. Even in the bar. We were so happy and already make plans to come back once for longer.

    The staff were very friendly and really try their best....they were super. My room had a huge bathroom and my bedroom clean. I had fresh food and drink every evening in the Bar downstairs, which was very convenient after a long day touring the surrounding countryside. It appears to have a dedicated clientele of regulars that support it, which gives it a truly authentic atmosphere.
