Amazing stay at Broomhall Castle. Really gave a castle-like feeling! Huge rooms with wooden beds, old-type of bathtubs with amazing comfort. Beautiful tapestries! wish we could have stayed longer - but will definitely return!

Very simple, 30 minutes by walking from the train station but there is a free shuttle that gets you there. A Morrisons just next door if you want to buy a quick lunch or dinner. Staff nice, breakfast very nice, too.

Everything! What a superb accommodation for a mother, adult son, daughter & husband. Main bedroom had main bathroom, with bath, other 2 bedrooms were en suite, such comfort for all. Great location next to pub with friendly staff and excellent meals. TV in lounge and in all bedrooms, we regretted we only had one night there, thoroughly recommend it and would definitely book again.

    Great hotel for the price. Lovely old building, decent breakfast options, the room had a bath tub, and they provided a bed and treats for my dog which (as someone who travels with a pet a lot) I found to be a lovely touch. Staff were friendly and accommodating and the hotel is well located.
