I loved it. I wish we could have stayed longer. It was a short stay overnight as we were travelling onwards the next day. The house was beautiful, new, modern and tastefully decorated. Quiet. Good facilities including a spa and swimming pool which we didn’t get a chance to use. It looked like ex estate workers houses. Very near the coast. But only a mile to the main road North/South. So nice. Excellent standard throughout. Spacious. Warm and comfortable.

Close to the A9. Very comfortable and quiet room with a fantastic view. All the rooms are at the back of the hotel looking over the fields with a distant view of the castle. Our evening meal and breakfast were great. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Would definitely use the hotel again. Not just for a driving stop off, but for a few days to explore the region.

    Great food, great room and a warm welcome. Close to local attractions such as Bamburgh and Holy Island. And dog friendly with a bowl of fresh water always available. We really enjoyed our evening meal at the pub restaurant in particular.

    The food was amazing in purdy lodge The steak and ale pie was the best I've had. The lodge has a truckers cafe 24/7 open on the end near the petrol station should you require anything. We didn't as the bar / restaurant provided plenty for your £.♥️ Very quiet room overlooking a farm field at the rear of the hotel with Bamburgh castle in the distance. We loved this place , well situated for hitting most tourists spots and dog friendly.
