The location was excellent. The hosteria is on a hillside, offering a beautiful mountain view across the town and the valley. At the same time the location is also central, only 10 minutes by foot from the main square and 12 minutes from the bus station (Terminal Terrestre). Our room was clean and comfortable, with two queen beds with four(!) soft pillows. The bathroom had hot water for showering. Normally the room is cleaned every day (they ask if you wish that they do). The breakfast was very good. It consisted of eggs, bread rolls, butter and marmalade with juice and coffee - which is what you normally get for breakfast in Ecuador. But the juice was different every day, the croissants were served warm (not every day, though) and the eggs were prepared in a different way. This is actually a big deal if you've been traveling for a long time. We had established a contact with the hosteria in WhatsApp before arrival and received all possible information regarding our stay in advance. Someone was around and available 24/7, opening the gate and supporting the clients with information about activities etc. We had our laundry done for a very small amount of money that was less than in public laundries. We did not speak Spanish, so were happy to find that the staff spoke varying levels of English. You get a great value for the money you pay.

Such a great place to stay in Banos! Very comfortable beds and room. Lovely breakfast in the morning. Staff were so kind and welcoming. Amazing value.

As soon as I arrived, Fabricio (the owner) greeted me calling me by my name..because he knew I was arriving. Few minutes after he offered me a better room, for no change of rate. In the following days he helped me with several things, also for unexpected issues I had. The accommodation itself is in a beautiful location, rooms are very nice and rates extremely competitive. I couldn't ask for more

This hotel was a dream. It’s located in the middle of the mountains surrounded by voluptuous vegetation which immediately released our stress. The hosts were friendly and accommodating, working hard to make our stay outstanding. The price was fair and absolutely worth the value. Great room, excellent service upon arrival, great breakfast. Upon arrival, the staff put effort into explaining how to use our limited tame best to our possibilities, and they made our stay in Banos very comfortable. Room as advertised, but a bit better :)

To begin with, the host family totally saved us when we couldn’t get a bus to Alausi and spontaneously had to go to Baños. Not only did they organize a room for us, but they got up in the middle of the night to let us in. Everyone there is incredibly kind and helpful, the hostel feels like a home and the breakfast ist amazing! also a shout out to the choice of breakfast background music which we really enjoyed :). Absolutely would recommend this hostel to anyone going to baños!
