This property is superb in all regards. The hosts, Elza and Albert, are gracious, welcoming, and ever so helpful. We just returned from almost 3 weeks in South Africa, staying in a number of guest houses. Riverside was our most enjoyable stay. We regretted not having booked a longer stay at this wonderful establishment. The attention to detail in all matters of the accommodation are quite remarkable, really. This is a must stay when in the Outdshoorn/George area. The breakfast room and fare were very upscale without feeling stuffy. Food was delicious!

The accomodation is located mid-distance between the cities of Oudtshoorn and George so we could enjoy activities all around. The cottage itself was comfortable and well decorated. She has peaceful garden with a lovely peacock 🦚, and two friendly dogs. The oudtshoorn also has many attractions around. We defenitly recommend Argyll B&B and the oudtshoorn area.

We loved the living space decorated with a lot of eye to detail and some reminders to Ghana. We got a little welcome snack and the kitchen was really well equipped. We were able to swim in their pool with a lovely sundown view and used to braai for dinner.
