The place smells amazing, which is such a rare thing when you’re traveling on a budget. The towels? First time I’ve had towels that actually smelled this good in any homestay. The outside area is also super well-lit and sparkling clean, making the whole atmosphere very welcoming. And the host? Such a kind and friendly person – always smiling and genuinely helpful with everything. For this price, you’re getting way more than expected. Staying here felt like a small luxury experience without the luxury price. I’d 100% recommend it to any traveler looking for a clean, safe, and peaceful place to stay.

I stayed at Lily Villa for an extended leisure trip and had an excellent experience. The rooms are beautiful, new and clean. The spacious grounds offer many corners for relaxation and entertainment. The homestay owner is lovely and supportive. If I have the chance to return to Măng Đen, I will definitely choose Lily Villa again. Highly recommend.

My wife and I are travelling around Vietnam on a motorbike. This offers a world of opportunity and options of places to go. We are so pleased we decided to stay in a small village just outside Mang Den. What a way to spend a few days amongst a farming community and stunning countryside. Hurrison is a wonderful host, and extremely passionate about the environment and countryside where he has decided to build his homestay. He took us down into the rice fields to watch the farmers work and gave us many other things to do whilst staying. There were many children in the village, and we were able to find them some colouring books and crayons and it was a memorable moment to watch them sit and play. If you do visit and are able to please bring them toys, books, or anything they really do appreciate it. The room we had, had wonderful views, was clean and had its own bathroom which again was clean. The bed was a little on the hard side but that’s to be expected. Food in the evening was prepared and also a light breakfast of eggs and bread in the morning. It was absolutely amazing stay and we will return if back in this part of Vietnam.
