I’m riding my bicycle around Thailand and they even get up early in the morning to buy some food for me to take as I was leaving at 6:15 AM. Their breakfasts are legendary. Instead of Western meal, They provided traditional Thai food. They also gave lots of advice on what to see and do in Phetchaburi.

A special highlight was our day in the national park with the manager, “Best.” His guidance was informative, warm, and engaging – we couldn’t have imagined anyone better. The food at the restaurant was incredibly delicious and homemade. The two staff members were extremely friendly and helpful, making the whole experience even more perfect.

The property has mountain and city views, and is 43 km from Cha-am Forest Park. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a terrace. The quadruple room was perfect for our family. Everything is immaculate and well thought out. Each bed even had it's own reading light and plugs for charging. The beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was lovely, served on the roof with views of the mountains and we enjoyed watching all the monkeys. It was a quiet, convenient and pleasant stay. We also enjoyed a lunch at their small cafe which was tasty.

The property is around 4.9 km from Cha-am Railway Station, 5.1 km from Cha-am Forest Park and 16 km from Maruekkhathaiyawan Palace. The accommodation offers a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, a shared lounge and free WiFi throughout the property. I booked as always on reviews which have sometimes been misleading. I like to think I give objective and representative reviews to inform others. This is the only stay which I have ever given a 10. The room was large with a big bathroom, large bed and plenty of storage space. It also had a balcony, security safe and mini fridge. The air conditioning is modern quiet and efficient. The area and hotel are very quiet. The owner manages the hotel and is super proactive and helpful as are the staff who work there, all really lovely ladies. The laundry service is very cheap, good and efficient. Beach towels are also provided at no extra charge, an extremely friendly place to stay and for a very good price. If anyone is not happy staying here they would not be happy staying anywhere.

Set in Kaeng Krachan, Baan Maka Nature Lodge offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. Offering a garden, the property is located within 5 km of Kaeng Krachan National Park. The property is 9 km from Kaeng Krachan dam lake. We contacted the lodge and they arranged our transportation from our condo in Hua Hin to the lodge. The lodge is beautiful, clean and peaceful with lots of beautiful birds and butterflies.   The lodge arranged Piak, our very knowledgeable guide and the perfect truck as transport to the fabulous National Park.   At the lodge, we enjoyed the challenging trek up to the Viewpoint on their trail.  The lodge also arranged our transport to Bangkok.  So everything was perfectly arranged and convenient for us. We had two nights at the lodge, perfect for us, who are not birders.

The facilities were superb, the room we booked but we were given an upgraded suite & it was exceptional, the staff at baba beach club couldnt do more for us, the staff really make this resort what it is, the level of training they have been given by the company is just incredible & I have to say. .credit is due to all the staff & senior management of Sri Pawan for exceeding our expectations at baba beach club
