Rooms include a balcony with mountain views. Apartment was new and looked fantastic at first sight, but unfortunately had several defects. Beds were hard.

Johan and Hana, along with their family, were incredibly generous and hospitable hosts, making us feel right at home. The apartment itself is spacious, clean, and cozy, providing a peaceful retreat in a phenomenal area. The city is conveniently located less than 20 minutes away by car, and the lake is easily accessible either by walking or driving. This is a place we will always remember fondly and highly recommend to anyone seeking a relaxing and memorable getaway.

Set 7.6 km from Mid Sweden University, the property offers a garden and free private parking. The host is very friendly and helpful. In the house is everything you need. It's nice designed and warm. You can park your car directly in front of it. Also you can charge it if its an electic car.

Sometimes you forget how good and kind people can be — and then someone like Richard (Richard and Isabel are the owners) comes along and reminds you. I arrived early at 08:00, before check-in time, after a long night train. I was tired, confused, and had many concerns about my ski plans (we dont ski in Israel, and it was my first time). Then I met Richard at the reception. He noticed my stress and calmly said, "Why don’t we start with breakfast? Allow me to take care of your belongings untill the room is ready." He truly wrapped me in care and kindness — and it meant the world to me. All my questions were answered by Isabel, who gave me great recommendations and guidance. Richard shared helpful ski tips, and I even received a lovely Easter gift — a small egg filled with chocolates. The place itself is very clean, breakfast was fresh and delicious, and the only downside is the distance to the ski area, which can be a bit challenging. To summarize — I 100% recommend this place. The house was clean and completley, the breakfast was excellent and the hostes was very kindly.

The property offers free parking. The convenient location makes transport easy: Åre Train Station is within 100 metres and Åre Östersund Airport is 87 km away. Wonderful location, big cosy rooms like home-away-from-home. Exceptionally good price/value-rate. Common room in basement is a life saver (because of weather!) while waiting the check-in. We recommend this place esp. for longer stay in Åre.

Located within 1 km of Åre Train Station and 1 km of Åre Torg in Åre, Mårtenlien Ski in Ski Out VM8 offers accommodation with seating area. There is a private entrance at the apartment for the convenience of those who stay. The apartment also provides free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. We visited Åre for a week to ski in early April. The hosts were very flexible with the arrival time and communication was easy. The apartment was clean, comfortable and the kitchen was well equiped for home cooked meals. Remember to bring your own linens but you can also rent them from the host. MårtenLiens Gård is a walking distance away from the VM8 ski lift but unfortunately for us, there was no snow in the valley so we coudn't ski-in/ski-out. It is also a walking distance away from the the town with all the shops and restaurants. We had a rental car so having a car park was great.
