They’ve really made an effort to give you the feeling of being in the middle of the jungle, because we we’re! Loved sitting on the terrace with a cold beer overlooking the Caribbean sea and watching the sunset 😎. You can hire paddle boards/ canoes & take them straight into the water from the pier. Bikes also available to hire. Rebecca was a great host & always available to help with any questions. The owner, Sterling, was a top bloke who kindly dropped us back at the airport! It’s about a 20 min walk to town or you can jump in a taxi for $1 each. (During the day walk along the beach to cut the corner off & avoid the traffic on the main road)

Mosana Reef Garden B&B is set in Bluff Beach, 5 km from Bocas Town and 26 km from Buena Vista. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Free WiFi is available and free private parking is available on site. Right on the sea, you go to sleep to the noise of the surf. Nadia and Salvatore are great hosts. Food is excellent. There are not many places to stay directly on the sea but this is one of them. We loved the overall vibe of this property. The communal spaces to eat are really nice and you feel a real hostel vibe even though the rooms are private. We loved the hotel beach that is easily accessible from the grounds. We stayed in the Estrella cabin that overlooked another quiet beach, so we’d fall asleep to the waves every night. There is a Toucan rescue who comes by a lot. I got to see her during my shower along with seeing a sloth from our balcony. I paid to get a massage done on site, and Josie did an amazing job! Owners and staff are also all extremely nice people.
