Insanely amazing gardens around the property. Makes for quite an incredible walk around or relax about. The bed was super comfy. Very big as we got the king. Host is super nice and brought us breakfast at 8 am on the dot when we requested. Sweet espresso machine in the room and the shower is perfect.

We are very satisfied with our stay at Murchison. We went there in May during the autumn season so it was not very crowded. We pleasantly got upgraded from a Superior Deluxe Double to a way more spacious Family Room! We were super happy with the upgrade as we were travelling with a toddler. Having a separate room to let him sleep while still being able to do our own things outside the room is very convenient. The owners were also very friendly and kind. They gave us a bottle of milk upon arrival and gave us tips of activities around the area. Murchison actually surprised us with lots of nice walking/hiking options. The city itself was also very peaceful and pretty.

The studio was lovely decorated and had stunning views of the mountains and ocean. The bed was the most comfortable one we had ever slept in on a holiday. The size of the studio was great and the shower had good pressure. Communications with the owner was also excellent.

Very comfortable room, great area, nice and quiet. Julie and Grant were superb hosts, very welcoming and great local advice. Perfect location for trips up to Abel Tasman n park. Really a great stay, and nothing to suggest to improve, everything was spot on. Would be back like a shot if heading back up that way, and I hope to be as a wonderful area
