We visited Nepal for the first time, and I’m incredibly happy that we chose to stay at this hotel! The staff is amazingly kind and helpful, the rooms are clean and beautiful, the breakfasts and food at the restaurant are delicious, and the rooftop terrace offers a stunning view of all of Kathmandu! The staff also helped us a lot with tours and exploring the city — thank you so much! When I return to Kathmandu, I will 1000% stay here again!

Pretty new hotel with lovely sunny balcony rooms, nice garden and proper restaurant which offers very good quality breakfast, lunch and dinner for more than reasonable price ( 10% discount for guests ). Rooms are spacious and clean, provided with a/c , Netflix, free drinking bottled water everyday. We booked one night and we stayed one more.

Hotel Jampa is set in Thamel and provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. The property is 2.9 km from Kathmandu Durbar Square and 3.1 km from Swayambhunath Temple. Everything. Location. Huge balcony. Comfy bed. Amazing staff. Special thank you to Uma and Sathisra. They are the best. Took care of everything and made stay a special one.

Really good atmosphere, fantastic staff. Owners are intimately involved and spend time ensuring everyone has a comfortable stay. They helped us with numerous things and were always incredibly helpful and very trustworthy :) Rooms are very clean and functional, each season there is constant improvements made, and it shows. Also, most importantly, the wifi is excellent and accessible from every inch of the property. Food is also awesome, chef used to be at a major restaurant in town and brings all of his experience with him!

Tulsi was also extremely helpful organising my trip to Kathmandu Valley (Nagarkot) from the hotel, ensuring I had a safe and enjoyable trip to Nepal! The location of the hotel is also brilliant, situated in a quiet and clean area where there is less car traffic, but also a 5 min walk from Thamel's bustling streets. The breakfast buffet in the morning had great options, ranging from Indian style, Nepali style and also American style breakfast options - the options were tasty and a great start to the day!
