Scenically set by the Oppstrynsvatnet Fjord, the family-owned Hjelle Hotel rests in a lush garden surrounded by mountains. Jostedalsbreen National Park is 5 km away. The room was big enough to accommodate a couple, it was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was clean. Water pressure was good. The food was nice. Quite a nice open buffet type of dinner and breakfast. The hotel offers you a packed lunch for a certain price and you can fill your bottle for coffee (for a certain price). The staff was very friendly. Always smiling and willing to help you all the time. The hotel location is quite good as well. There are nice places you can visit by foot. The hotel staff gives you a booklet you should check after you settle in your room. There are suggestions of places where you should visit including the routes and nice places to visit.

Lunde Turiststasjon is situated in Jølster in Sunnfjord and offers accommodation in cottages, apartments and rooms. Excellent place with hot tube, I have been here 7 years ago, now toilets and showers have been renovated, here is washing machine for a fee. The cottage has an upgraded fully equipped kitchen.

Kitchen, bathroom, living area met all expectations. The trout from the lake are delicious. Host recommended hiking Hamnanova, this mountain is visible from the kitchen and dining room windows. A steep, but enjoyable hike. Quiet, beautiful scenery. You can see your car from the hut at the top.

Vollsnes Feriehus is situated in Hjelle, by Lake Strynevatnet, All accommodation options have a fully equipped kitchen and free WiFi. Some offer lake views. Stryn Ski Centre is 25 km away. The hosts are the sweetest and the place is amazing
