The playa mangos bar and restaurant was wonderful and just a short walk away. We ate breakfast at La Sirenita up top on their covered deck and was delicious. Loved our casita, super comfortable and we slept better than ever. Can't wait to go back. I even had to take an online/interactive 3 hour class for continuing education, and the wifi was excellent the entire time. Sat on my deck overlooking Lake Nicaragua and had a fabulous Zoom class.

The location was close enough to the main town to have all the amenities but far enough to feel rural.

The breakfast options were lovely, the view on the volcano was amazing and I really enjoyed having our private terrace with a hammock and howler monkeys that visited the surrounding nature every day. Oh, and the stars on a not cloudy day, best I have ever seen so far! We have really enjoyed our week on the island, could easily have stayed a bit longer. Café Campestre was nearby, great place for dinner. All in all, it was better than we imagined, thank you!

The accommodation features a shared kitchen, a tour desk and currency exchange for guests. It’s a nice little oasis, not too far off the main road with a spot to park out front. The dorm beds were comfortable (and each had their own fan). There are nice places to chill, it’s well laid out, and the restaurant prices are very reasonable. When it’s not cloudy, you get a great view of volcano Concepcion from the 2nd floor. Irs pretty easy to chat with other travelers.

With lake views, Finca Mystica is situated in Ometepe and has a restaurant, a shared lounge, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. The room was spacious and unique. The property is gorgeous! Every fruit and vegetable tree you can think of. Wild monkeys run around the property, as well as the owners cute pets. A bit far from everything but that's what makes this place so peaceful. All of the staff are extremely friendly and polite. Food is fresh and delicious! Best hotel on Ometepe.
