Both cabins are very neat and clean and cozy with charming views on the lake. Dinner and breakfast were delightful. What makes it special is a fact that you can rent bikes and explore Polonnaruwa by yourself (or with the great host). There are many monkeys, birds and cows around. We slept like babies, no mosquitos.

Professional, courteous and helpful. The rooms are large and clean with good facilities. We had a day of torrential rain which confined us to the guesthouse. It was absolutely a pleasure to sit and read a book, watch the many birds and plan the next days. Bicycle hire was easy, and the owners generous with local knowledge.

I really enjoyed my stay, the room and bathroom facilities were very very clean and we had a great balcony where we enjoyed breakfast and dinner. Homemade food was delicious, and we really felt welcome. We really appreciated the bike rent that is very convetient to go visit the sacred city from the home stay. I recommend 100% to stay at this lovely family place :) thank you !

The house is in the nature and very close to the temples. We had great discussions about the country and got to learn more about Sri Lankan. Our host made us an amazing rice and curry and we went on a night walk to see wild animals. We have been able to rent great bikes to visite the temples. I really recommend!

It is immediately close to the ticket office, has a classic architecture perfectly suited to the lake and classical Sri Lankan / British style that has been maintained with love and attention.
