We could only book one night available :-) Hotel managed by young and friendly bunch. Hotel rooms are BIG, more than we expected. Pretty luxurious stay for sure. If you can do it, definitely stay here for one or a couple of nights!!!

Situated in a quiet location with an excellent view of Sigiriya Rock, while still being a short walk to restaurants. The pool area was well maintained, and it was great to have a swim after a long hot day exploring the area. The staff and breakfast was great. The room was clean, comfortable and as advertised. The air-conditioning worked very well. A fantastic place to stay.

The owners were really characterful and friendly. It's right in the jungle and the garden is like a jungle too. The room was great, very clean, hot running water and really well kitted out rooms - Good AC, a stocked fridge with cold drink minibar type setup, kettle, tea/coffee, a big washing bowl handy for washing clothes. The entrance to Sigriya is directly opposite the access road to this place - you could not stay any closer, so ideal for an early morning start up the rock. The Breakfast here is absolutely stunning, 18 different items, all cooked by the host in the morning, hoppers, pancakes, little omelets, jaffles.. it just keeps coming out! We had our own tuktuk so driving around, going out at night wasn't a big deal, and the owner can easily organise a tuktuk pickup as this guesthouse is set back into the jungle. A 5min walk from main road in the daylight but maybe not something to try in the dark. We would happily stay again!

Sebuah tempat percutian yang tenang di atas bukit, Heritance Kandalama menawarkan pemandangan Sigiriya Rocks yang indah. It's a fascinating building wonderfully situated right in the heart of the jungle, with plants growing over it. Marvellous views over the nearby lake, just slightly spoiled by the fact that a drought had left it nearly empty. Service was superb with tremendous attention to detail. I enjoyed the meals, both the buffet breakfast and dinner, each of which provided a very wide choice. The rooms are very comfortable and spotlessly clean. A memorable place to stay.

We spent in hotel only 1 night but if we would stay in Sigiriya longer we would definetly stay here. The second we came, personal were so nice and helpful. Location of hotel is amazing, walk distance to Lion rock and 20 min with tuk tuk to Dambulla caves. The room was spacious, clean, with amazing view. Breakfast in morning was amazing, homemade mix of western and traditional sri lankan dishes with fresh cut fruit. 10/10

Suman set a very high standard when it comes to welcoming and hosting guests. He is very attentive and incredibly warm, making us feel welcome. He even arranged all of the tours and ride during our stay. He even provided customizable breakfast depending on our request and even dinner. Such a great cook! We even missed his homecooked food when we moved to different location. A wonderful experience from start to finish.

Ajith and Gamini were lovely. The property is so peaceful and relaxing. The cottages were very spacious comfortable and clean. The pool was great too.

We had an amazing two night stay here at the end of our time in Sri Lanka. The food was incredible, especially the fish salad:). They hooked us up with a tuktuk driver to get us to Sigiriya Rock in the morning, then a Naturalist for an afternoon park tour to see elephants. The safari tour was incredible value and we saw lots and lots of elephants. We enjoyed a morning at the spa as our treat to ourselves before heading off to Kandy then the airport. It also was amazing and we walked out of there feeling like jello. The facilities are brand new, gorgeous, clean and well thought out. The location overlooking the lake in the private mango grove is very peaceful. The staff are helpful and laid back. I knew coming to Sri Lanka that there is a different dynamic vs Canada when it comes to women, and I certainly didn’t come with any intention of imposing my Canadian values here. However, being at this women managed and staffed hotel was a nice change during the trip where I felt like I could speak up and answer questions ahead of my partner without them looking to him for confirmation. Would 100% stay again and highly recommend.
