This was one the best hotels i stayed in my time in Sri Lanka. The staff was great and the owner even more so. I did a tour with him through the knuckle forest reserve and it was absolutely beautiful. He also knew a great deal about the places we went to and the local community. The hotel was clean, had a good vibe and the vieuw from my room was amazing. 2 other rooms where being built and he had plans to put in a pool. If this place gets known, its going to be packed with tourist. I would highly recommend this place and if i ever go to Sri Lanka again, this hotel is going to be at the top of my list.

The location is absolutely stunning, with a balcony that looks out over the most breathtaking view. The chalet was charming, comfortable, and well-equipped, including a pleasant bathroom and shower. The full board meals were exceptional. I can’t stop thinking about their Sri Lankan breakfast, and the ice cream was unforgettable. The staff were welcoming and attentive. What truly made our stay unforgettable was the warmth and hospitality of the staff. Their genuine care and dedication to providing a top-notch experience reflected true Sri Lankan hospitality. Additionally, the view from the place was incredibly interesting. We were treated to vistas of mountains, paddy fields, and pristine natural environments. It truly felt like a natural and green heaven, offering a serene and calming atmosphere. Staying here felt like a form of meditation, enhancing the relaxation and rejuvenation of our vacation. Overall, our stay at A Frame Riverston was nothing short of magical, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a peaceful retreat amidst stunning natural beauty.

It was built in a totally different concept than other accommodations I stayed. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Has all the facilities tv,wifi kitchen and etc. I mostly like the concept and beautiful environment it was build on. And uncle and aunty who look after the place are really nice and i have great respect for their superb hospitality. They treated us like family unlike guests.

So peaceful!! This was a true highlight of our trip. The beds in the tents were soooo comfy, we ended up extending for two extra night. We went on a really great hike with our guide Banu too who was so knowledgeable, it really topped off the experience for us. I was positively surprised. It was actually one of the top accommodations for me in Sri Lanka. I liked everything about it. Especially the comfort and every detail of the room. The bed, the pillows, the armchair, the wardrobe, the desk, the lights, the kettle. Super clean. Very soundproof and quiet, which is quite important to me. Dilini is super nice, speaks English extremely well and is also interesting to talk to. And it was the perfect balance of helpfulness and privacy, which I appreciate. The restaurant across the street has great food for a good price. I was also able to go for some beautiful walks in the surrounding neighbourhood. I would book here again if I am in the area.
