From the moment we landed, we were greeted with exceptional hospitality. Despite arriving well before our check-in time, we were whisked away from the airport and provided with a comfortable room to relax in until our accommodations were ready. The rooms themselves were fantastic, boasting efficient AC, a convenient fridge, and a charming covered balcony overlooking a picturesque banana plantation. The serene atmosphere, coupled with the melodic birdsong, made for truly tranquil evenings, especially when accompanied by the soothing rhythm of raindrops dancing on the balcony. One of the highlights of our stay was the accessibility to the nearby hotel, easily accessible via a complimentary tuk-tuk ride or a leisurely walk. There, we indulged in the refreshing pool and indulged in a sumptuous buffet breakfast while marveling at the breathtaking views of the river, where elephants from the nearby orphanage would grace us with their presence twice daily as they came down to bathe. A special shoutout is reserved for Andrew, the incredibly friendly and accommodating transport manager, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing short of perfect. From providing lifts into town to arranging transportation to our next destination, Andrew's dedication to ensuring our comfort and satisfaction was truly commendable. Overall, our experience at Pinnawala was nothing short of exceptional. The blend of luxurious amenities, breathtaking natural surroundings, and outstanding service made for an unforgettable family getaway. We can't wait to return and create more cherished memories in this idyllic haven.

Very helpful staff, lovely pool and restaurant. The room was comfortable and spacious with great amenities. We loved our stay. We visited the amazing Elephant Freedom Project which was only 13 minutes away.

Moksha at Kitulgala - Rainforest Boutique Hotel mempunyai kolam renang luaran, taman, lounge berkongsi dan teres di Kitulgala. We spent 3 nights at Moksha and I have to say it truly exceeded all our expectations. The rooms were super comfortable and the staff were extremely helpful. The chef team (Sampath, Thank, Manila and Sumudu) were amazing, we told them one time about a something we ate in the market while in Colombo and they made us that dessert for dinner that same day. That's how far and beyond they went for us and every day since they would make us special treats not even on the menu. We did so many activities as well so it wasn't just that the hotel was wonderful but there was so much to do around the area. We went zip lining, canyoning, white water rafting and waterfall abseiling and it was all arranged by the hotel with a very well trained team. I can't recommend this hotel enough to anyone who's looking to just relax or for adventure or a bit of both. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We loved the location of Wanakaset Forest glamping right in the heart of the forest which afforded us amazing views of the hills from our balcony room. The food was plentiful and delicious and the ladies in the kitchen incredibly hospitable. We ventured out on a trek with Banda who was passionate and knowledgeable about the flora and fauna of the area. We would highly recommend a stay in this forest sanctuary.

Gallene Gala Nature Resort mempunyai kolam renang luaran, taman, lounge berkongsi dan teres di Kitulgala. Mona, her aunt and her boy Shaun are just adorable. The place is unique and when you arrive, you find yourself away from everything in the middle of the jungle, it’s absolutely stunning. There is wildlife, beautiful birds dancing and a natural pool that is incredible. I am a solo mum traveler with my toddler and it was beautiful to see our sons play together. She even watched my boy so I could get enjoy the natural pool. Mona is a cool and lovely woman and I loved how her and aunty are running thia place. I would love to come back! Dinner was one of the best I had in Sri Lanka! Absolutely loved this place!
