Try to get one of the rooms upstairs as you have a better view of the monkeys and squirrels climbing the palm trees. Not only are the hosts friendly and welcoming, they are excellent sources of travel advice and really make your travel planning easy. Bicycles are available and this is an excellent way to see the sites nearby. And the food!!! The breakfasts are absolutely scrumptious with huge helpings - you won't need lunch. The photo shows the view from the breakfast area, where you can chat with other travellers if you wish. The room is comfortable and clean. Unlimited drinking water available day and night. Lake House isn't about having enough power points (there aren't) or having a wardrobe or similar for your stuff (there isn't). It's about unbelievable value, in all senses of the word.

Everything about the property was just quaint and lovely. The room was so cute and quaint, the property was gorgeous in the middle of this lush forest. So remote, I could hear the peacocks somewhere on the property. There’s a lovely sitting area outside of the room with a Koi pond. There were chairs in the patio to just relax on. The room was so cozy and beautiful! The bathroom was massive and gorgeous. The staff were so sweet and helpful.

I loved the friendliness and helpfulness of the host and his family. He was able to help us arrange transportation to/from the guesthouse and also the safari jeep. The location is very quiet despite being by the main road. It’s located some distance from the safari but still relatively close by. we managed to see the elephant and even a leopard! The room itself was clean and well planned, all the basic amenities were provided for us.

Gihan and his wife truly care for all of their guests, looking after their wellbeing and also allowing for independence and privacy. It felt to nice to be well cared for, especially when traveling alone. Gihan can help arrange tours and activities and will take you himself in his Tuk Tuk when available. They have bikes for hire and I enjoyed riding all around Anuradhapura a couple of times. Their food is amazing! In the past they owned a restaurant and it shows. A huge variety and the best food I’ve had in Sri Lanka. I am gluten intolerant and they were very accommodating to my diet. You can tell they care a lot about their business, investing in it and caring for their clients. Extend your stay, you won’t regret it. There’s much to see In Anuradhapura and you’ll not want to leave Corner Cottage.

My wife and I spent two delightful nights at this enchanted resort. Sameera was a wonderful host and nothing was too much trouble for him. Breakfast and dinner were delicious especially when eaten al fresco. The tree-top accommodation was well appointed and charming. Going to sleep at night was blissful listening to the sounds of the forest. Chilling out here is so easy, but book early as there are currently only three lodges. Highly recommended.

The Sri Lankan food served here was exceptional – fresh, flavorful, and authentic. This is an ideal place for anyone visiting Wilpattu National Park. Menawarkan basikal percuma, taman dan WiFi percuma, Wilpattu Mookalan Resort terletak di Habawewa, 39km dari Kumbichchan Kulama Tank dan 39km dari Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi. We had an amazing experience in Wikpattu Mooklan Resort! The owner and his son were taking care of us all the time and organized a great safari! It was a full day trip at a very affordable price, We managed to see 3 leopards, bear, elefant, crocodiles, tones of deers, and many, many other species of mammals, reptiles and birds. At night we could hear a lot of animals and it was an extremely peaceful time. The food was delicious and made with love. Absolutely recommended place!
