Savet, his wife, children and family were so friendly, warm, and accommodating. They really went out of their way to accommodate me with everything I needed. I booked last minute and Savet even left work early to come and greet me and take me cycling. The bamboo hut made by Savets brother was beautiful, the photos don’t do it justice. Breakfast made by Savets wife was delicious, she even served traditional Cambodian desserts with it. As others have said, the cycling tour was great. Savet took me even though it was raining. We cycled through his village and he gave a lot of information on the way. The location was just out of Battambang town, however Savet will transport you to and from the homestay to get to your bus, restaurants etc. I had such an incredible local experience here that I wouldn’t have got anywhere else. I am really glad I chose to stay here and not in town. Highly recommend.

Located in the heart of Khmer Wat Kor Village, Maisons Wat Kor is a boutique hotel with an outdoor swimming pool and massage services. Rooms have a terrace offering garden or pool views. Where do I start? The rooms are incredible, huge, stylish, spotlessly clean with super comfortable beds. The property itself is so beautiful, with a lily pond, lush greenery, a lovely pool and plenty of seating to enjoy the setting. It’s an oasis of luxury just outside Battembang. The food is outstanding - the only problem is not eating too much of it. And the staff are so incredibly kind and attentive. A wonderful hidden gem in Cambodia.

Located in Battambang, Au Cabaret Vert is an eco-friendly hotel which offers bungalows with private patio. It features a 55 m² pool with a completely natural filtering system and tropical gardens. It seems to be in a small green oasis. The staff speaks perfectly english and french, the bungalow was very spacious, clean and fresh. Beautiful pool too. I only had lunch but it was delicious. I think au cabaret vert is a perfect get away to immerse in a quiet garden. PS: try the homemade jam! I wish i had time to taste more dishes xx

Setha was an Amazing host, very kind and attentive. In general the place is beautiful, comfortable, a unique hostel with a real Cambodian vibe. The food was generous and tasty. In particular, my private room was good, super comfortable bed, quite (because I was looking this environment), have a fan and one cozy terrace. A lot benefits in an excellent price. You can walk to the center or rent a bike to discover this land (recommend).

A very hospitable and easy-going environment. It’s family run, with a beautiful covered patio upstairs that serves a modest menu and drinks. They literally trust you to tally your own beers and waters if you’re there after hours. They have a large inventory of scooters for rent and a wealth of information about the area and Cambodian culture in general. They can book you a bus to the major destinations and it will come to the hotel. Ask Anut about her favorite breakfast spot!
