Phnom Sampov Temple & Pagodo is within walking distance from their home, with beautiful walks in the mountains & caves. You can also grab a bicycle and go for rides in the ricepaddies across the road. I loved sitting outside at night with the family for sunset staring at the mountain, Phnom Sampov temple & pagodo whilst watching the bats fly by. Sharing dinner with the family and their friends was very special too. Highlights would definitely be my adventures with Esaro. I highly recommend booking a tour(s) with him.

Located in the heart of Khmer Wat Kor Village, Maisons Wat Kor is a boutique hotel with an outdoor swimming pool and massage services. Rooms have a terrace offering garden or pool views. The location was amazing - the energy and vibe was so zen and peaceful, and the staff were incredibly accommodating and kind. The pool was lovely and food at the restaurant was also great. Highly recommend and would definitely return.

Located in Wat Kor Village, 4 km from Psar Nat shopping area, Battambang Resort features bright and modern rooms with free Wi-Fi and views of a garden or lake. Everything was amazing from the staff, to the decoration, the room and the environment. The hotel staff can arrange for you everything (circus, tuktuk, taxi). You also have one free way to the city center with tuktuk. They also take great care of you and help you if you need assistance to plan your day in battambang. The restaurant and breakfast are extremely good, specially the khmer food (try the nom ban chok). Probably the best hotel i ever visited.

The homestay is surrounded by beautiful countryside, and the hosts were kind enough to lend me a bicycle to explore the nearby villages, temples, and rice fields. It was peaceful, scenic, and gave me a real glimpse into rural Cambodian life. If you’re looking for a genuine, heartwarming experience beyond the usual tourist spots, I can’t recommend this homestay enough. It’s perfect for travelers who want to slow down and connect with locals in a meaningful way.

They can book you a bus to the major destinations and it will come to the hotel. Ask Anut about her favorite breakfast spot!
