Small gestures such as cold water and a fruit plate was welcomed and driving us into town for dinner was a kind gesture. The cabin was spacious, clean and had thoughtful extras such as toothbrush and paste. The bed was large and very comfortable. I highly recommend this home stay for a great experience in Battambang.

The family running the accommodation were outstanding, making us feel so welcome. We did a day tour with the owner which was a brilliant way to see all the sights around Battambang. The owners pay individual attention to all guests, sharing their strong values on sustainability and fair treatment for employees.

Located in Wat Kor Village, 4 km from Psar Nat shopping area, Battambang Resort features bright and modern rooms with free Wi-Fi and views of a garden or lake. Home to an outdoor pool, restaurant and bar the resort is surrounded by rice fields and provides free private parking. The room was large and very comfortable. Linens were very good quality; bathrobes were nice. Breakfast was very good. Pleasant garden surroundings. The hotel is 3km away from city centre, but this is not actually a problem. One ought to come here for dinner if staying in town; the restaurant is very excellent!

The hosting family was welcoming us with open arms and a very warm heart. We felt immediately like at home. The location is a wonderful green spot with many plants and flowers which makes the place calm and perfect to come down and relax. Setha & her kids were very personal and authentic; we spend a very special evening together having private chats about life... about the world. I highly recommend a stay there if you wish to spend an authentic moment with locals with an interesting life.

Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace, Bar Ang Guesthouse is situated in Battambang. There is an in-house restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. Staff on-site can arrange a shuttle service. I had a very nice stay at the Bar Ang guesthouse, the owners were very welcoming, took me out for breakfast as they don't prepare it there, and I also did the countryside tour with them, which was a great insight into a local life and beautiful views. The room was clean and spacious enough, and as there were no other guests at the time, I had a private bathroom with no need to share it.
