Amazing Hotel, even though it is a very traditional and old place, the rooms are very modern and renovated with all the amenities one can think of. Onsen is good too, but very hot. The beach is literally just across the road! The rooms all have an ocean view. Staff is extremely friendly and breakfast is also great. Just watch out to book dinner if possible, as there are not many options to eat around town if you don’t want to take the car.

Great all inclusive especially for beer enthusiasts. The room had a lot of space even with the futons laid out. We enjoyed the open air bath in the room and the private onsen. The meals were fantastic especially the dinners.

Takasagoya Ryokan terletak di Zao Onsen. Ryokan 3-bintang ini mempunyai bilik berhawa-dingin dengan bilik mandi berkongsi dan WiFi percuma. The owners/staff are extremely kind and accommodating. They went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. They allowed me to check in early and even let me use the onsen in the afternoon after checkout.

Boasting natural hot spring baths, Hohoemino Kuyufu Tsuruya is located a 15-minute walk from JR Tendo Station, 50 km from Sendai. Very beautiful hotel. Great onsen.

Guests at Hayamakan can enjoy traditional multi-course meals and relax in the indoor/outdoor hot-spring baths. Very spacious and the way they decorate in the hotel was really nice.

To stay in a traditional setting really made our visit to Dewa Sanzan area special. The dinner options where all the food is locally sourced and prepared- incredible experience.
