Guesthouse Iwase is set in Toyama, 2.2 km from Toyama-kō and 14 km from Toyama Family Park. the house was clean, the host so nice. The price is cheap. You also get free ticket to the train. Easy move to train station

It was truly a stunning location that left me with an indescribable feeling. The walk there was breathtaking, and everything was so clean and beautiful. The hosts were incredibly sweet and welcoming! As a first-time solo traveler who was quite anxious, I was amazed at how the environment instantly put me at ease. They were also so helpful in planning my time/transportation in Nanto, making my experience even more enjoyable and stress free. I felt so comfortable and cozy that I don’t even remember falling asleep after my long day of exploring :) The food was also absolutely delicious, and I was genuinely sad to leave.

Minshuku Goyomon terletak di Nanto, 43km dari Istana Kanazawa dan 43km dari Taman Kenrokuen. Ryokan 2-bintang ini mempunyai bilik berhawa-dingin dengan bilik mandi berkongsi. Everything! The host actually did speak a little bit of English which made it easier to understand questions about the accommodation and to even enjoy the food more (she told us how to eat some dishes together). I also liked that there were only 2 rooms so it felt cozy like staying at home.

Mempunyai penginapan 2-bintang, Minshuku Yomoshirou terletak di Nanto, 43km dari Taman Kenrokuen dan 25km dari Shirakawago. This is a great place to stay at. Ainokura is way more quiet and authentic compared to the touristy Shirakawa. The owners are a super friendly family. The dinner and breakfast is very delicious and traditionally Japanese, something you just have to try. The room was stayed in was spacious and comfy.

Menawarkan taman, Daibutsu Ryokan terletak di Takaoka di kawasan Toyama, 48km dari Istana Kanazawa dan 48km dari Taman Kenrokuen. A ryokan which still upholds the tradition of Japanese hospitality. Even I booked only a single room, I was surprised to find my tatami room so spacious with balcony opens to a beautiful koi pond. I was treated with a famous local biscuit as welcome gift. The breakfast was the tastiest and most eye-pleasing meal I had in my entire 2 weeks-trip. The clam soup was so fresh. The host helped to call the previous hotel I stayed because I left my adaptor & mobile charger there. He was kind to also let me use his charger that night. The room was warm in chilly autumn night and I had a good sleep after soaking in hot bath. It was rainy when I arrived and left the ryokan but because of the hospitality I received, I wished I could have stayed there for another night or 2.

The Japanese house, with its spacious 120 m², is very welcoming, comfortable, and beautifully designed with a natural and sustainable style. Bright, full of light, and featuring restored wood details, it also has a vintage HiFi stereo system that sounds absolutely wonderful. The bathroom was spacious with two individual showers, and the bedroom was perfectly quiet, equipped with a brand-new air conditioner. The host was very kind and friendly—she recommended all the wonderful places I visited nearby. Thanks to her advice, I enjoyed a fantastic restaurant just 12 minutes away on foot, where a talented chef served exquisite dishes in a minimalist setting with a table overlooking a zen garden, all at a very reasonable price. On my way back, I followed her recommendation to stop at a cocktail bar 8 minutes from the house, walking along the illuminated riverside. The place was like stepping into a movie set—the interior design was a true work of art, with more than 80 bourbons and an extensive selection of cocktails. The next morning, following her guidance again, I had breakfast in a café walking only 6 minutes, a former fisherman’s warehouse beautifully renovated. They served excellent coffee, cakes, and sandwiches—the perfect spot to start the day or work with a laptop. In summary, my stay at Yanafu was wonderful. The 120 m² house is warm and cozy, and with the host’s thoughtful recommendations, I could enjoy unique and unforgettable places within walking distance. Ideal for families, groups, and also for romantic couples, thanks to the beautiful surroundings. I will definitely return often.
