It is a school turned to a hostel in a very convenient location for the Nakasendo trail trekkers. In our experience the staff was very helpful and the other guests were very respectful and quiet. We slept like babies! Very comfortable single beds and they offered extra blankets. They offer suggestions for dinner in the village but in case of emergency there are also snacks and instant noodles sold there. Anyone can use the kitchen facilities too! Also the gym of the high school is open to use :) Clean toilets and showers!

Everything good! The room so spacious, private onsen was the best experience, all clean, we could use dining room with amazing view and the host super friendly.

The room was in a perfect condition which was clean and the interior was refiend. The staff were nice and the local Izakaya was just around the corner. The staff were very kind and cooperative :)

Lovely large room overlooking the railway and bus station in a quiet, charming town. The room was well soundproofed and had a kitchen area and washing machine. A good size bathroom with a good hot shower. Comfy bed. Great location for taking trips out on the bus or train into the mountains. Takayama sits just below them on the river and has lovely streets to wander. Restaurants galore.

Terletak di Atami, 1.7km dari Pantai Atami Sun, SOKI ATAMI mempunyai penginapan dengan taman, tempat parking peribadi percuma, teres dan restoran. I loved the design, the location, but most of all - the wonderful staff & delicious food, beautiful garden! We have been travelling for 3 weeks and staying at various beautiful places, but SOKI Atami is without a doubt, the best! I look forward to returning soon before we leave for home.

At first I was slightly uneased by the price of the night for 3 people, but after experiencing the onsen, the amazing dinner, and exceptional breakfast combined with top notch staff, I must say, the price is very well worth it. Food was superb, and the quality of the onsen was unbelievable - rivaling that of Beppu onsens known through Japan. Not to mention the exceptional accessibility options should the guest be differently abled - 2 very wide elevators, appropriately sloped ground, no bumps going through the rooms.

Located at 13-minute walk from Nagoya Station, Nagoya Prince Hotel Sky Tower offers free WiFi throughout the hotel. Shared parking is available on site for a fee. One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in, we felt like VIPs. The staff were exceptional, the room was large, clean and quiet, and the breakfast was outstanding. We also had Club Lounge access, which was a slice of heaven. The hotel was in walking distance to Nagoya Station as well for all our transportation needs. This hotel checked all the boxes and we wish we could have stayed longer!

Effective October 1, 2025, a lodging tax will be introduced by ordinance of Takayama City. In addition to the room charge, 100 yen per person per day will be charged. Very big room - could fit all of us, don't have any idea why we booked 2 rooms, we could easily book just one, and sleep two on the beds and two on the tatami.
