The customer service was flawless, with staff who were not only professional but genuinely warm and attentive. Everything—from the check-in process to the smallest personal touches—was handled with care and grace. The location is unbeatable, with views of the Gateway of India and the Arabian Sea just steps away. My mornings began with an incredible breakfast spread offering a vast array of delicious options from across India and beyond. The culinary excellence was matched only by the service and presentation. What truly set this experience apart was the sense of history that envelops the hotel. A special thank you to Mr. Newton, the in-house historian, who spent two hours personally walking me through the rich legacy of the palace. Having worked there for over 44 years, his stories, insights, and passion brought the walls of the hotel to life. It was like walking through time, guided by someone who had lived it. I only stayed four days, and it wasn’t nearly enough. I didn’t want to leave. Next time, I’ll be staying longer—because the Taj isn’t just a place to sleep; it’s a destination in itself. Thank you to everyone at the Taj Mahal Palace for creating memories I will cherish forever. I can’t wait to return.

Embodying the 120-year-old legacy of John Jacob Astor IV, our 5-star hotel in South Mumbai made its debut as the first St. Regis hotel in India. Rooms are spacious, extravagantly decorated, with amazing views of the Mumbai skyline. Beds were super comfortable. The breakfast options are mind-blowing! I had an issue with a mouldy smell in my room - staff were very helpful in relocating me to another room in the middle of the night.

Everything was awesome, the food, the room, the cleanliness and location are all awesome. We loved the ambiance on our stay and what we loved even more is that the hotels care for hiring staff with learning disabilities like Down Syndrome or hearing disabilities. I will continue to support hotels such as Taj the trees that care for providing a nice and sustainable environment for these folks. Will definitely be coming back!
