This was our first experience staying in an old castle. To say the least, way-higher-than-expected quality - facility, restaurant, bedroom, afternoon tea, hospitality from staff, you name it. This is worth it.

Located in Castlerea and only 20 km from Roscommon Racecourse, Lisalway Country Lodge provides accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. The hosts, Tommy and Pam, were very helpful, informative and convivial. The room and bathroom wonderful, exceptional decor and attention to detail. The breakfast - also excellent. Nothing was too much trouble.

Ronald and Maureen are exceptional hosts and wonderful people. It was great to get to know them during our short stay; they are so wholesome and feel like long-lost family! They were very accommodating on check-in time and helped escort us to our destination when our transportation fell through. The rooms are spacious and boast scenic views of the countryside. They made us a wonderful breakfast before our day's journey. We only wish we had more time with them! We certainly hope to be back again one day. Thank you for everything Maureen and Ronald! P.S. We miss the dogs, too!

Andy is incredibly welcoming and puts a lot of effort into making each of his guests feel comfortable. The property is beautiful and the views are breathtaking. We’ll be back for sure.

The place is exquisite, breakfast, decoration and accomodation were also a plus. You can tell they put attention to every detail. Our stay couldn't have been better. Ard Aoibhinn Roscommon Bed & Breakfast mempunyai pemandangan taman, WiFi percuma dan tempat parking peribadi percuma di Lecarrow, 8.2km dari Pusat Pengunjung Claypipe. Doris and Kevin were the perfect hosts, beautiful home and the breakfast was fabulous, great nights sleep. Rooms bigger than you would expect and to be woken by birdsong was an added extra. The local pubs were about a mile or so down the road with a harbour if you fancy a walk.Athlone town only 10 minutes away if you fancy a more lively night out taxis available. All in all a great find and most definitely would recommend and hope to revisit in the near future.
