They organize trips through the jungle with stays in the jungle. the guides grew up in the jungle and share their knowledge Their english is well and they even organize karaoke evenings or play games with you in the jungle (card tricks etc). It was so much fun, I learnt a lot and I saw the Orang Utans in wild life, also many other monkey. Their lodge is placed at a hill over the river. The bungalows are simple, with a very comfortable bed. I will defetly go back.

The jungle trek itself was a great adventure - we were lucky enough to spot lots of orang utans and a bunch of other wildlife, and had a great time with our 2 guides (special thanks for their Indonesian lessons!). Big shout out also to the chef, we were so well-fed with the most delicious food every evening!

Came to jhony’s for two days trekking tour through the jungle and was an incredible experience, from the start seeing orangutans and many monkeys around , the five start hotel in the jungle for the first night was special and the next day rafting to coming back to our a accomodation in Bukit lawang was the perfect close . The room was really nice, the location perfect and the owners were really kind and helpful. I did the jungle trekking with them and Dandy, my guide, made it an amazing experience, he was so kind and funny and really compromised to make the best time out of it. We also enjoyed really fun nights playing guitar and singing with the guides and local people. If I ever come back, for sure I will book this place again. Thank you so much!

Amazing place, the location is superb in the centre of the picturesque village Bukit Lawang and next to the river! The staff is absolutely amazing, and the food wow.. Furthermore we did the 3 days/2night jungle trek with Andy and Jerry, which was absolutely incredible. The tour was full of insights on the local flora and fauna, accompanied by well organised base camps and great food. We can do nothing but recommend this place! Looking forward to being back, Lara and Stijn!

We did the 2-day, 1-night hike and it was an amazing experience. Our guide was excellent – knowledgeable, friendly, and very informative. The staff were all so kind, helpful, and great company throughout our stay. I can highly recommend this place to anyone.
