Our host, Mick, could not have been any more pleasant during our stay. He is a mine of information about the local area, and indeed the island in general. Morning breakfast was a lovely selection of locally sourced foods, served up in the communal lounge area next to each of our rooms. Following this up with a good walk in the hillside next to the accomodation, with the route advised by Mick as one that not many of the locals get to see.

Very comfortable and charming apartment, lovely location, host replied immediately to all questions.

I originally booked a courtyard room but decided to upgrade to a sea view room, we got one on the 2nd floor. We were greeted by the reception staff who told us about a few things like where the restaurant was. On entering our room I was very surprised by the size, it had double aspect windows one to a courtyard the other to a panoramic view of Douglas bay. The room itself was of superior quality, mood lighting to bedroom and bathroom, a sofa in the window, 2 armchairs facing the TV. Complimentary soft drinks, crisps and chocolate in the fridge, even a corkscrew next to the kettle. There was even 2 dressing gowns and slippers in the wardrobe. The breakfast was included as was cereals and continental breakfast and full hot breakfasts. You can also book an evening meal in their restaurant and they have a bar for drinks. Excellent friendly service from all the staff too. Brilliant location also close to shops, bars and restaurants. Will definitely be booking here again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Carrick Rooms are a real gem, and we will most definitely be retuning soon. This place is the most airy, spacious, immaculately clean and modern accommodation that we have ever stayed at on the island. The hosts could not be more accommodating, nothing is too much trouble, and they really do go above and beyond to ensure that your stay is perfect in every way. A delicious continental breakfast is served in Roots cafe below each morning. The breads, pastries and cheeses are all local produce and the coffee is fantastic too, Thank you for making our stay the BEST that we have ever had on the island, you guys are simply fantastic! Ideally located right in the sea front in Douglas, Isle of Man’s capital, Cubbon House offers bed and breakfast accommodation, en suite guest rooms and free WiFi. Perfect location, super friendly and helpful owners, great breakfast, I’d come back anytime I am in IOM again, highly reccomended

The Welbeck Hotel gave us an exceptional stay for our Special wedding Anniversary! We had a Beautiful sea view room! , they made us feel very welcome Beautiful food! Just wonderful, would deffo stay there again on our next visit to the Special place me & my husband met back in 1980! Thankyou again Welbeck Hotel! 💓 xx
