Aurora Queen Resort Igloos terletak di Saariselka dan mempunyai bar. AQ is much over our expectations. The Igloos are just settled among the snow covered forests. We could also often find reindeers strolling around in near forest, and even around the Igloo. The scenery of the surrounding is a real fairy land. The Igloo is very comfortable and warm. Both the Igloo house and interior design are very cozy and paid attention to each detail. The decorations of the restaurant are something like an art gallery. The chef also makes very nice Nordic cuisine for guests. The high light was the driving snowmobile through the trail among the white forest. It was a so beautiful experience. We even met reindeers on the way of driving. Especially the guide was a very gentle and friendly young man. He told us many stories about the local nature and tried many ways to let us enjoy the driving. All the staffs are very nice. Nina and her husband are very friendly to the guests. They talked to us like friends. We got a most beautiful memories in AQ in our Finnish Arctic Circle trip.

Surrounded by mountains and panoramic scenic views, this property offers timbered, self-catering accommodation with free WiFi, a sauna and terrace. The village of Saariselkä is 800 metres away. The location of this property was great. It was close enough to drive to all the places we planned but also felt like we were far enough away to have such a great winter vibe. the main road driving in had several igloo cabins which leds me to believe that its a good location to view auroras, unfortunately we went and had snow and clouds everyday so we did not have a chance to see an. The apartment was clean, had plenty of supplies on hand in the front cabin and tons of room for my family. The entry had plenty of racks, storage and a drying unit to help aid in the transition from outside to inside. our snow gear was always ready and warm for the next outing. The log cabin aesthetic inside and out added such a cozy yet elevated touch to our trip. it was warm, had a fully equipped fire place, and sauna. The tall ceilings in the living space made it feel bigger. they kids loved the loft and nook with window and like looking outside. The kitchen was stocked with all essentials and we loved that the apartment was decorated with a christmas tree during the holidays. Check in was at the local pub which I thought was different, but honestly it was perfect because we were able to grab the keys and some supplies from the local store nearby and head over right at check in.

Breakfast included, great service including assistance with luggage, activities to book, airport transfer , views, comfort, great facilities . Awesome for couples , close to bus for ski resort, toboggan , love the loft bed

Aurora Village Ivalo is situated in Ivalo and offers cabins with a glass roof, offering the possibility to spot the Northern Lights from the bed. Very good location to see the Northern Lights. You just need a clear sky. Dinner was over expectations. We had 6 activities booked and all went very smoothly. It is not cheap but, as a once in life experience it’s worth the money. I might do it again in 3-4 years.

Their cabins are further apart. We did actually see aurora inside the cabin. I would imagine if the cabins were too close, this would not have been possible
