Hospes Palacio de Arenales dates back to the 17th century and was formally the holiday residence of a noble family. This 5-star hotel offers a wellness centre and spa. Although I wasn’t travelling with my dogs I was delighted to find out this is a dog friendly hotel, it even had a dog friendly restaurant inside the hotel. The staff there very friendly and helpful, the food was excellent. There is nothing I could fault.

Housed in a former convent, built in the 15th century, the Parador de Plasencia hotel has kept its stunning, original architecture, including spacious hallways, archways and courtyards. Beautiful and exceptionally clean. Very historic and grand. Car parking was tight getting on the car elevator, a unique experience. It is best to have a small vehicle in Europe.

We had a wonderful stay at Encantos del Jerte. The place has it all. It is located in the center of the village next to the church and 1 min away from the river. It is recently renovated and has all the best construction materials and amenities, for example it has radiant floor heating! It is a beautiful sustainable gem in the heart of Navaconcejo. We also made use of the accessibility of the ground level apartment for my great grandma that is in a wheel chair. Felisa, the owner was very attentive before, during and after our stay and very understanding with our little kids’ needs. Navaconcejo is my mom’s hometown and I come back frequently and Encantos de Jerte will be my go to spot from now on!

Terletak di Miajadas, 44km dari Plaza Mayor, HOTEL RURAL FINCA LA DESA mempunyai penginapan dengan taman, tempat parking peribadi percuma, restoran dan bar. Fantastic hotel, everything about our stay was amazing. Great room facilities, lovely helpful staff. The restaurant food and wine were excellent. Stayed with motorbikes and they arranged for them to be securely parked. If ever back in the area we would definitely stay again. Only downside is they don’t own more hotels to visit and stay at 😆. Definitely recommend.
