Kemet house is an oasis in the west bank in Luxor. Laurice is the best host you could ask for, we felt like home for two days. It’s been by far the best hotel we stayed in during the whole trip around Egypt. The room was clean, well decorated and cozy. The food is delicious and homemade (by Laurice and her Egyptian sisters in law), make sure you try dinner one night and never miss out their breakfast. Public ferry is 5 minutes walk but check the west bank as well, it is beautiful and more authentic. Thanks for having us. We’ll come back! ✨

The room is clean and spacious, food is delicious, wifi is strong, the young care taker of the place is kind and helpful.

It was well equipped with everything you would need including an ironing board ! It was meticulously clean and sparkly and having stayed in many apartments over the years in Egypt this was the cleanest one yet. The view from the balcony was lovely and the area is quiet and welcoming. We would definitely stay there again.

He went above and beyond by organizing all of our plans even better than a travel agency would. The views from the hotel are absolutely spectacular, and the breakfast was delicious, prepared with fresh local products. Highly recommended for anyone looking for not just a place to stay, but a warm and genuine experience.

Great location, less than 10 mins walk to luxor temple,railway station and bus pickup points(go bus ,super jet etc) and nile east bank where there are plenty of good restaurants as well. The rooms were neat and breakfast was good. All the staff were very courteous and super helpful. They really care about the guests and even warn about various scams with multiple notices all around the hostel. We checked out early in the morning for a bus ride to aswan and without us requesting, the staff packed a full breakfast for us. Overall great experience!
