Peacefully located at the foot of the Obersalzberg mountain and just a 3-minute drive from the centre of Berchtesgaden, this hotel provides accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking, a... Breakfast buffet is excellent. Staffs are really nice. I had a good conversation with the lady who works at reception in the evening. Shower room is big and clean. There is a bus 840 which go to Salzburg or Berchtesgaden Hbf nearby. It runs hourly.

This family-run 4-star hotel is located in the centre of Bad Reichenhall. AVALON Hotel Bad Reichenhall offers a bar, air-conditioned rooms and free high-speed WiFi. We stayed in Avalon Hotel one night, to take rest of a long ride with car. We got everything we needed: a clean room with warm shower and a comfortable bed. When we woke up in the morning, we had a beautiful view on mountains. The breakfast is being served on the top floor, with a great view on the city. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Location was stunning and decor and facilities were excellent. Meals were amazing, fresh, local produce. Loved the hotel's approach to sustainability. It was great to get a guest pass for local buses and it also offered discounts on entry fees.

Comfy beds and large collapsible sofa, blinds on the windows and convenient underground parking in a quite urban location. would come again and recommend to others!
