There was power outage during our stay (due to storm). They proposed us to stay temporary in other apartment that had electricity until electricity is back. The family-run Hotel U Kaplicky is a 10-minute walk from the Old Bridge in the historic royal town of Pisek. All rooms are en-suite and they come with wooden furniture and work desks. Really a suprising quality for a small Czech Town. Very nice new rooms, excellent kitchen from local sourcing, nice restaurant. We will definately come back.

The U Solné Brány (at the Salt Gate) hotel enjoys a quiet yet central location about 50 metres from the Přemysl Otakar II. Square, which is the main square of České Budějovice. This is such a cozy and elegant hotel in the most perfect central location! We came for Christmas markets and just had to walk about one minute to the town square! The staff was friendly and helpful. The whole hotel has a very elegant feel to it. Our room was clean, and we slept so well. Amazing shower! The breakfast was the best we had on our trip though Czech. We parked for a small fee, and it was super easy and right out the door. Lovely and delicious options! We absolutely would stay here again.

Very nice and friendly people working there. Really very nice feeling. The management of this hotel is very lucky having such a nice staff working for them.
