I don't even know where to begin. It's and excellent place with warm, hardworking and good people. Fantastic spot to hike to the volcano. We had one of the best meals here in whole Cabo Verde, Ciza is an amazing cook and traditional dishes she prepared were just delicious. It's simple, yet generous home. Rose is an excellent guide, patiently answered all our questions. We surly will be back. Keep up a good work, you are doing great 😸 Fingers crossed the restaurant will be in place, when we will be back next time!

I was upgraded to the nicest room they have - it was very spacious and with breathtaking view over the sea and Brava island. Very pleasant staff, tasty breakfast and swimming pool. All of it for a decent price. Totally recommended!

Dengan pemandangan bandar, TCHAN LOVe terletak di Portela dan mempunyai restoran, kelab kanak-kanak, bar, taman, teres dan taman permainan kanak-kanak. Superb place to stay in the village of Cha das Caldeiras. The guesthouse is relatively new and taken well care of. The facilities are clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. Convenient location just at the beginning of the hike to Pico. There is a hotel bar and restaurant on site with reasonable prices for water and drinks (indeed the same price as in the shop across the street). Do yourself a favor and arrange the food at the restaurant before you arrive, as the food here is absolutely delicious! Also possible to buy a packed sandwich for the early morning hike to the Pico, and perhaps have the breakfast packed (actually not much difference as the breakfast is bread, cheese, boiled egg and some fruits). Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Hotel Salinas São Jorge mempunyai taman, teres, restoran dan bar di São Filipe. Everything. Katya is very welcoming, cooks very (very very) well and takes care of her client like no one did in Cap Verde. We have spent 2 weeks in Cabo Verde and haven’t met anyone that kind, welcoming and helpful. The place is also amazing. Out of nowhere, facing the sea, natural swimming pool… you name it! Katya also offers a few options to discover Fogo island like pico de fogo.

Adriano and Filomena welcomed our group of 4 people in their house. The place was perfect for us: great location, wonderfull view on the caldeira and on the volcano, quality of the staff, size of the room, good food made by them. They have done everything to feel at home. Take time to discuss with Adriano, he has many stories to tell you about the caldeira and about Fogo. Thanks Adriano and Filomena for these days on another planet !

Villages on the lava field in caldera is incredible. Jose is super host. He organize pick up, cooking, tours around island. They brothers are very good gidės to climb to volcano. My big thanks to Felix. I would reccomend to stay there min. 2 nights.
