The shared dorm was clean, had shampoo, air conditioner, clean sheets, futon, and pillow. Also curtains for privacy. I enjoyed my stay a lot. They even gave me a little souvenir on my way out and free water. Thank you for a very pleasant stay. Amazing price and just five minutes walking from North Gate of the old city. We had a great stay. The room was comfortable, modern, and better than the photos—new furnishings, good quality finishes, and all the toiletries you might need. Thoughtful extras included a plug adapter, a Bluetooth speaker, and a quality hair dryer. On arrival the room was at a pleasant temperature, with snacks and a fresh fruit plate waiting for us. The location was very good: inside the old city walls and a few minutes walk to the main area of the old town. Best of all, the service was outstanding. The staff were genuinely helpful throughout, and the person who looked after us went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed and shared great restaurant tips. We’d gladly stay again and highly recommend it.

We travelled in a group of 3 pax and requested for an additional bed; we were very happy to see this already arranged by the time we checked in after a long flight and given an upgrade to the executive size. Room was clean, spacious and bedding comfortable with a Nespresso machine in the room. We also enjoyed the diverse spread at breakfast - with lots of local fare and a good balance of non- local to choose from. We also appreciated the amazing speed of the staff who responded to our requests with friendliness and alacrity - the concierge desk, the bellboys and the ladies at the breakfast counters were very helpful during our stay. Highly recommended for a comfortable stay in Taiyuan
