The room was kept clean, even the cleaning staff was extremely good and cooperative, they couldn't speak English but they communicated via this translate app , my wife was sick , they helped a lot , then we have the front office staff , we met Ms. Coco on arrival she was extremely wonderful and throughout our stay always out to help and who would take that extra step , hats off to her , we stayed 5 days then went to Shanghai and came back for another 5 days, she was a vry nice person and did her best , I should also mentioned and salute Yvonne, a another efficient and a vry helpful girl , she booked tickets, ordered food because I didn't HV the apps used in china,I should mention this , one morning I got her to book tickets to visit the great wall for the next day , the same night my wife got sick again, so I went dwn around 1am and canceled the taxi, and told the guy at the reception, what he did was to inform Ivonne immediately, next morning Ivonne surprised me with a refund of 300 Y , I said how come u got the refund for the great wall tickets , she said as soon as she received the message that my wife is since and will not visit the great wall , she cancelled and got the money refunded, that is great service, she also helped throughout our stay there , Ms . Tuna ( hope I got her name write ) , she is not vry good with her English but she tries hard and was of great service, the two boys jack and jake they were surpurb.. all in all the young guys and girls there at Base are amazing, always looking to take a step extra and keep the customer happy. Ideally located in the embassy area, Holiday Inn Express is around a 15-minute walk from the popular Sanlitun Bar Street. It provides modern rooms with free internet. Wonderful location, great stuff with fluent English, house clean was done everyday and the room was super neat, and also the breakfast was great!

The Howard Johnson Paragon Hotel Beijing is situated in Beijing's East Chang'an Avenue, opposite and a 5-minute walk from Beijing Railway Station (also the subway station). The location is great right across Beijing Railway Station and subway is nearby. The room is quite spacious and comfortable. Staff that took care of us at check-in desk (Alisa) is helpful.

As one of the most unique hotels in Beijing, Legendale Hotel Beijing is the epitome of European elegance and luxury. We had a great stay at the hotel, and I would especially recommend it for families traveling with children. The location is excellent—very convenient for sightseeing with kids. We could visit attractions in the morning, return to the hotel for a break at midday, and then head out again in the cooler afternoon. It was also very easy to catch a taxi or use ride-hailing services right at the hotel entrance. There are many great restaurants within walking distance, offering a variety of delicious food options. While the hotel is not newly built, the exterior is beautiful and the rooms are clean and well-maintained. One of the highlights was the room setup—it had multiple power outlets that supported both Chinese and European two-pin plugs, along with USB ports and a very handy extension socket. This made charging all our devices very easy. I would also like to give special thanks to Jenny Zhang, the floor manager on the 14th floor. She was exceptionally kind and thoughtful, anticipating our needs even before we asked. Noticing that we were traveling with two kids during the hot summer, she made sure we had plenty of bottled water and extra clean towels. She often checked in to see if we needed anything else, which made our stay feel very warm and welcoming. Highly recommend this hotel for families and anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located stay with attentive service!
