Located 500 metres above Lake Lucerne in the canton of Nidwalden close to Lucerne, this 5-star hotel awaits you with a combination of modern comfort and a traditional Swiss ambience. Our rooms are connecting room with super nice lake view. The spa was too good to be true. There are choices of steam room and saunas, indoor and outdoor pool. We like the outdoor pool in particular, because it is clean and with less people. You can swim under water and ask your family member to take video or photos for you through the Bull"s Eye. Also, there is a floating pool in the spa which you should not missed. All in all, we had a great time in the spa.

Situated 450 metres above Lake Lucerne on the Bürgenberg mountain, in the Bürgenstock Resort, the Waldhotel by Bürgenstock was designed by star architect Matteo Thun and features the Waldhotel Spa and... Amazing location, amazing food, amazing staff, beautiful scenery, beautiful accommodations. Exceeded all of my expectations.

The BellaVista is located 400 metres above Lake Lucerne and 1 km from the centre of Emmetten. Free WiFi is provided. Clean, quite and spacious and at a great location if you are looking for a balance of isolation and being close to a village with at least one shop, a gas station and a few places to eat. Let's not forget the cable cars in walking distance that can lift you up in the mountains! So comfortable that a family of four could stay there for weeks. With a view that you believe it only if you see it!

Located 400 metres above Lake Lucerne, these spacious apartments feature a balcony with panoramic views over the lake and the surrounding mountains. The centre of Emmetten is 500 metres away. Location was the higlight. Nice tucked away village with awesome views. Morning and afternoon at the balcony with view of lake lucern were our highlight. Locationwise was perfect for our planned tourist visits. The hosts kept us informed of process and welcomed us next morning. Juice, water and welcome chocolates were a treat we were not expecting :) Bits in kitchen all there - including cooking oil. A little glitch on bathroom hot water was sorted very promptly. Heating was pretty good - we had to get the fan out - which was tucked away in the little loft room. Overall the place had a good chalet charm about - kids loved it.

Located in Stans’ village square, Hotel Engel provides modern rooms with contemporary furniture and a minimalistic design. The café bar offers a terrace overlooking the square. The room was immaculate with an incredible view, and one of the best hotel showers I’ve ever had!! The staff were very pleasant and helpful throughout our stay, and the area itself was so peaceful and quiet, especially early in the mornings. We also loved the breakfast. We easily could’ve stayed for another 3 nights - we will definitely be back!

Located in Beckenried, right at the shore of Lake Lucerne, Superior Hotel Nidwaldnerhof features a lake-view terrace and offers free WiFi access and free garage parking, with each room having its own... We arrived after check-in hours and the staff were very nice and helpful. Since we arrived after the restaurant was close, they made us sandwiches a and salads. The room was great also and the views were good.

Located in Beckenried at Lake Lucerne, Boutique-Hotel Schlüssel offers rooms of unique charm in a historic building dating back to 1820. WiFi access is free of charge. Beautiful location and very peaceful. The room was clean and comfortable. Shower was amazing for our top floor attic room. Breakfast was wonderful as was the dining experience. Highly recommend.
