We used the Gasthof Schontal as a base for travelling to and from Kitzbuhel for a days skiing and the Hahnenkahm races. A half hour drive takes you to Kirchberg in Tyrol where there is free parking and a free shuttle train which takes you into Kitzbuhel itself. Perfect

We were met by the host who is lovely, the apartment is spotless and really quite a good size with everything you need for your stay. The beds are super comfy and the shower is hot and powerful at all times and the apartment is always warm. Location is perfect for the village and everything is just a short stroll away with Car parking right outside. We would definitely stay there again

Surrounded by the scenic mountains of the Kitzbühel Alps, the family-run Apparthotel Talhof, Restaurant, Pool und Spa enjoys a quiet location on the Roggenboden plateau in the Wildschönau Valley. Yes, This was a great hotel. We were given a bigger apartment than we booked. Spacious, clean, everything we needed was there. We will definitely come here again.
