Very comfortable and stylish homestay with a well thought-out Colonial aesthetic. A lot of plants and greenery in the inner courtyard, all of which creates a relaxing and peaceful environment. Big room, good mattress and updated bathroom. Very friendly and helpful family owners. Good breakfast which was cooked with care. I had a motorbike but even so I preferred to walk into the market area and main part of town. It is a very pedestrian-friendly town, and a very clean and friendly place too. Pia homestay is deservedly very popular and so I would recommend that you book well in advance.

The owner/attendant is a very kind person. He answered all our questions and helped us with directions to where we could catch a local bus to the waterfalls. He even directed us to the best non pork restaurants in town. The accommodation is the best we were able to cook breakfast for ourselves in their well equipped kitchen.

From the moment you arrive, you can feel the care and professionalism that has gone into this homestay. • Room & Facilities The mattress was the most comfortable one I’ve had in a month of traveling in Northern Vietnam – I slept perfectly. The room is spacious, very clean, and well equipped: plenty of towels, a TV, and even water provided in the room. • Cleanliness & Comfort Everything was spotless, from the bathroom to the living area. You immediately feel comfortable and well taken care of. • Food & Value The bistro food is delicious, and the western dishes are also very well prepared, all at a very fair price. In addition, guests can order from the menu of the café just around the corner, which is owned by the same host. It offers a wide variety of tasty dishes, drinks, and teas. • Service & Atmosphere The staff are enthusiastic, warm, and always helpful. You feel truly welcome and well looked after. One of the friendliest places you will find in Cao Bang. The staff are all amazing and will go out of their way to help you anyway they can, even using Google translate if you don't speak Vietnamese. My stay here was for 5 nights and I also stayed for 8 nights in the sister hotel just 50mts away. The hotel is very close to many stores including both Vietnamese and Western foods. Only about 5 mins and you are in the heart of Cao Bang. The room was very comfortable with a large 4k UHD Tv and aircon that works perfectly in Vietnams heat.
