From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by its breathtaking location – this hotel is indeed very close to the ocean, and the proximity to the water is simply unbeatable. One of the highlights of my stay was the everyday changing and tasty breakfast. Each morning, I eagerly looked forward to the delicious surprises that awaited me. It was a delightful way to start my mornings and provided the perfect fuel for my day of exploration. What truly sets the Ocean House apart, though, is the serenity it offers. It's an incredibly quiet place, perfect for anyone seeking a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. I found myself relaxing like never before, with nothing but the soothing sounds of the ocean to accompany me. And let's not forget the view! The ocean view from the hotel is nothing short of spectacular. I spent countless hours gazing out at the horizon, watching the waves roll in and feeling completely mesmerized by the beauty of nature. It's a view that truly enhances the overall experience of staying at the Ocean House. The staff were attentive and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their warm hospitality added a personal touch that made me feel right at home. In conclusion, I can't recommend the Ocean House hotel enough.     Very clean, full of utensils and lots of space. Also felt quite new and recently decorated. Location to town was walkable and really liked being able to leave the car in the garage. Lots of parking and a lovely walk to the ocean front just opposite. Really nice touch with soap, shaving, toothbrushes gave an upscale feel in the bathrooms.

    Location, location, location Perched above Hwy 101 on the inland side, J could see across the parking area to the ocean Restaurants and activities were all within 1/2 mile I liked the generous size of a front room facing west, it had a living room area with a couch and a TV, then a bedroom area with another GV, then the bathroom The room was clean, abd the bed was comfortable

    Love the view, and fire places. Always been our stop for our quick 1-2 night stays for over 20 years. Used to be a great value stop, with comfortable beds, no frills motel. Easy walk to main drive. Plenty of easy parking, elevator, friendly staff. Its clean. Ceiling fans were nice, and extra fan in room as well. Be sure to ask for upper floor for best views...

    The property is beautiful and relaxing. The view of the harbor from the room and common areas was incredible. I loved the amenities of the fireplaces and lounge areas. The check-in process was a breeze and accessing the building/room was easy with the keypads. Parking was easy.

    The location is excellent. The buildings are old, but efforts to make upgrades are obviously being done. The staff was very friendly and it was exceptionally clean. There is a beach access at the end of the parking lot - very steep, but then it was like we had a private beach with very few other people there. Wonderful area of the coast!
