I had a very good experience here! The room was good sized, clean, well maintained + bathroom. The food was very good, service excellent (both owner + staff), quiet and very good deal (price in September). There is also a brand-new Jacuzzi tub that we could rent for the evening and enjoy the outdoor air while relaxing in the jacuzzi tub. I would recommend booking here anytime if visiting the area. Also - i would like to revisit in summer time due to the heated pool :) This only a improvement idea, not necessarily an issue : It was confusing how to reach the pension - Because of the GPS application that took me to a bit steep road that normally I've wouldn't follow as I was driving a small car. There is an additional (less steep) road on the other side of the pension. Please maybe highlight the road to the pension by having signs/boards being posted down the hill? These could indicate the easier road up.

Perfect couple’s escape in Sălciua de Jos We came to Sălciulla Dream Cabin to unplug for a few days and it was everything we hoped for—quiet, romantic, and surrounded by stunning mountain views. Mornings started with coffee on the terrace, just us and the sound of the birds. Evenings ended in the hot tub under a sky packed with stars—pure magic. I especially loved that the hot tub is included in the price of the stay, most places charge extra for it! The cabin feels thoughtfully designed: spotless, warm, and cozy for two (it had 3 bedrooms so up to 6 people can stay there, but only 1 room has the best Apuseni mountain view). The kitchen had everything we needed for easy breakfasts and a candlelit dinner. Private parking made arrival stress-free. Our host was fantastic—clear directions, quick replies, and helpful local tips without ever being intrusive. We left feeling genuinely recharged and already talking about when we can come back. If you’re a couple looking for a peaceful, romantic base in the Apuseni Mountains, book it. You’ll fall in love with the place just like we did.

One of the most spectacular locations I have ever visited. This place will definitely remain in our memory for a long time. Words simply cannot describe the love with which this place was built, the attention to detail, the kind and welcoming people who made us feel as welcome as at home. The food is extremely good, the breakfast so varied and traditional, with organic products, the drinks were also excellent. Location is very nice, quite, with beautifull view from around and not so many neighbours. A cabin on top of a hill. Facilities were very good, with small kitchen and a big grill outside, there is also a dishwasher and washing machine, coffee machine, electric kettle, toaster. The owner was very nice, comunicative and willing to help. We were welcomed with local specific drink. There is even a small vegetable garden, from which he suggested to take the ready ones.

It was a wonderful experience. The house is new and spacious. There is enough space to accommodate up to 5 pairs or two-three families with kids. Top bedroom above the living room deserves separate compliments! You literally sleep above the valley. Views are amazing. There is cozy fireplace in the living room. It is fully automatic and easy to use. There are also two electric heaters in case some bedrooms will be not enough warm. And of course jacuzzi!!!
